Terms and conditions

1. General agreement

1.1. SIA „Viking tires”, reg. No. 40203304813; legal address: Baldones iela 1, Rīga, LV-1007, Latvija (hereinafter referred to as vikingtires.lv) provides the content available on the website www.vikingtires.lv (hereinafter referred to as the Website) and provides services in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below, subject to delivery of goods, return of goods and other terms and conditions and the company's operating policy, which is outlined on the Website, in relation to certain functions, elements or advertising, as well as provides a customer service, and all of the above is included in and forms part of these terms and conditions (all collectively referred to as the Terms and Conditions). By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions without limitation or condition.

1.2. vikingtires.lv reserves the right to change the Terms and conditions without notice.

1.3. If the consumer, through the Internet, purchases the goods offered for sale on the vikingtires.lv Website (hereinafter referred to as the "Goods"), then such a mutual agreement is considered a Distance Contract and is subject to the legal norms governing the Distance Contract, including, but not limited to, Directive 97/7/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of consumers in respect of distance contracts, the Law of the Republic of Latvia "Consumer Rights Protection Law", the Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia "Regulations on Distance Contracts".

2. Accuracy of information

2.1. When providing a description of the products available on the Website, we try to be as accurate as possible. If the information related to the product (description, picture, etc.) has changed, vikingtires.lv cannot guarantee that the Website is completely updated at all times, including all current information.

2.2. The descriptions of the goods are for informational purposes only and the use of the information provided does not create any legal obligations between the visitors of the Website and its creators. The company is not responsible for the quality of the image of the goods - it depends on the technical capabilities of the Buyer's monitor.

2.3. The range of goods changes regularly and vikingtires.lv is not responsible if a particular product is not available or cannot be delivered.

3. Product prices

3.1. The prices of the goods on the Website are indicated without delivery costs.

3.2. Prices and product offers are subject to change without prior notice. If the actual price of the product differs from the one indicated on the Website, vikingtires.lv will contact you to agree on further action.

3.3. Payment for the purchase must be made in advance.

4. Payment with VISA or MasterCard cards

One of the most common and oldest payment methods on the Internet. The payment system is protected against fraudulent transactions, including 3D Secure technology - a unique system that ensures secure payment for purchases on the Internet and is part of the global programs MasterCard® SecureCode™ Verified by Visa. As a buyer, you must read and agree to the Terms and conditions before you can make a payment. 3D secure technology is an internationally recognized security system that provides additional verification of the card user's identity and protection of the card data itself on the Internet. The system was created to reduce the possibility of fraud in online stores and to increase people's trust in online shopping.

5. Purchase confirmation

After successful payment, a confirmation letter will be sent to the e-mail address specified by the buyer.

6. Return of goods

6.1. The buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days and return the goods to vikingtires.lv

6.2. When returning the goods, the money for the delivery is not refunded

6.3. The return of goods is carried out in accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia.

7. Force majeure

vikingtires.lv is not responsible for delays in the performance of obligations or their non-performance, or other non-performance, which has arisen due to circumstances and obstacles beyond our reasonable control, which include, but are not limited to, strikes, government orders, acts of war or national emergencies, terrorist threats or acts of terrorism, environmental or climatic anomalies, non-performance by third parties, disruptions in the Internet connection, as well as failure of computer equipment and software. In the event of such force majeure, we will try to eliminate the delays as soon as possible.

8. Right of withdrawal

Upon receipt of the goods, please make sure that the delivered goods correspond to the order. The right of withdrawal is the consumer's right to withdraw from the contract (cancel the order) within a certain period (14 calendar days) without paying a penalty, interest or damages. The warranty and the right of withdrawal shall be exercised in accordance with the laws in force in the Republic of Latvia, as well as the type of goods sold. The right of warranty can be exercised if the Buyer has a document confirming the purchase, which must be submitted to the Seller together with the purchased goods. If the Buyer wishes to exercise the right of withdrawal, it must be taken into account that the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised: - after the expiry of the period prescribed by law; - if the goods are damaged - in respect of goods intended for immediate consumption. In case of exercising the right of withdrawal, the buyer must deliver the goods to the Seller's address, together with a document confirming the purchase and a warranty card, if one has been issued to the buyer. The Buyer will receive the full amount of money paid for the returned goods within 30 (thirty) days from the receipt of the withdrawal to the specified bank account. The consumer prepares the claim application in a free form or fills in the claim application form, which is in the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 631 of August 1, 2006 "Procedure for submitting and examining a consumer's claim for goods or services that do not comply with the terms of the contract": You can get more information about consumer rights on the PTAC website. 9. Delivery of goods

The delivery time for goods is 2 - 14 days. This will be specified after receiving the order, when our representative will contact you. The delivery fee and terms are determined depending on the weight of the selected product and the type of delivery. More details in the "Delivery" section.
